Saw a great doc: Vinyl.
Once you’ve been exposed to the collecting world- you can start to pick up on the trends, the faces-
ummm let’s just say the -idiosyncrasies- of the culture begin to emerge.
AND because of this it is almost as much fun to meet the people as it is to hunt for treasure. Seriously.
Vinyl examines record collectors- (albeit through the lens of a man in the midst of mid-life crisis)… Alan Zweig’s perspective is hyper critical and psychoanalytical and really kind of sweet and sad and very human-(this movie was really, really good).
